From the brand

Echogear made in Minnesota - we make TV mounts, racks, surge protectors, and cable management
Echogear is a company full of legends bringing you the TV mounts and other AV gear you need.
Designed in Minnesota. Made for your pad.

Our story

How we got our start?
It all started in 1980 when Marcus McEchogear crafted a wall mount before flat screen TVs were even invented. He was ignored, and Marcus ran off yelling: "You'll see! YOU'LL ALL SEE!" and became a hermit. And see they did 36 years later when Echogear rose from the ashes like a TV accessory phoenix.
What makes our product unique?
We find the perfect balance between quality and affordability. Spend less time sifting through a box of parts amp; more time kicking it with the squad or catching up on The Bachelor with your dog. We don't hang you out to dry either. Hit a snag? Real Minnesotans are standing by to help, 7 days a week.
Why we love what we do?
We simplify the DIY process and use these products in our own homes. We want your weekend project to go as smoothly as possible so you can get back to the fun stuff. I'm talking about tipping back Nattys with a Popeye's chicken sandwich while watching Austin Powers 2 with the gang.

Product Description

Set it and forget it. The ultimate in easy TV mounting.

If you need a TV mounted in a single location that doesn't need to swivel or tilt this is the perfect mount for you.

Since it doesn't need to move, it has the lowest profile, so the mount is basically invisible on the wall. Your friends will think it's magically levitating when they come over, like Wingardium Leviosa. This type of mount also fits a wider range of VESA patterns, improving its compatibility with TV brands like Samsung, Vizio, and Sony.

Being so close to the wall does have one major drawback, it is hard to access your cables. Luckily, ours has pull cords to easily unlock the TV from the mount, to get at your cables without having to take the entire TV down, saving you time. And we all know that time is money, money is power, power is pizza, and pizza is knowledge.

Because the mount doesn't need to move, it is also the most budget friendly mounting option and the easiest to mount.

Here are the specs:

  • VESA Compatibility: 100x100, 200x100, 200x200, 300x200, 300x300, 400x200, 500x200, 300x300, 400x300, 400x400, 500x400, 600x400
  • Profile from Wall: 1.25"
  • Lateral Shift?: Yes
  • Studs Required: 2
  • Wall Compatibility: 16" or 24" on Center Wood Studs amp; Concrete
  • Construction: 100% High Grade Steel

Oh and we almost forgot, buying from ECHOGEAR means you get an awesome product at a great value. We back up everything we sell with our US based customer support that is available 7 days a week.

The Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering uses biological design principles to develop new engineering innovations that will transform medicine and create a more sustainable world.

At the Wyss Institute, we leverage recent insights into how Nature builds, controls and manufactures to develop new engineering innovations - a new field of research we call Biologically Inspired Engineering. By emulating biological principles of self assembly, organization and regulation, we are developing disruptive technology solutions for healthcare, energy, architecture, robotics, and manufacturing, which are translated into commercial products and therapies through formation of new startups and corporate alliances.

We have 8 major Focus Areas.

  • Bioinspired Therapeutics & Diagnostics
Therapeutic discovery and diagnostics development enabled by microsystems engineering, molecular engineering, computational design, and organ-on-a-chip in vitro human experimentation technology.
  • Diagnostics Accelerator
An initiative enabling the creation of new diagnostic technologies that solve high-value clinical problems through deep collaboration between the Wyss Institute and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Candidate diagnostics will be driven by clinicians’ unmet needs, advanced in the Wyss Institute’s biomarker discovery and technology development labs, and validated in BWH’s CLIA lab, providing crucial clinical data to move them from the bench to the bedside faster.
  • Immuno-Materials
Material-based systems capable of modulating immune cells ex vivo and in the human body to treat or diagnose disease.
  • Living Cellular Devices
Re-engineered living cells and biological circuits as programmable devices for medicine, manufacturing and sustainability.
  • Molecular Robotics
Self-assembling molecules that can be programmed like robots to carry out specific tasks without requiring power.
  • 3D Organ Engineering
Highly functional, multiscale, vascularized organ replacements that can be seamlessly integrated into the body.
  • Predictive BioAnalytics
Computational approaches that apply the power of machine learning, neural networks, and other algorithmic architectures to complex problems in biology, generating faster, better insights and driving innovation.
  • Synthetic Biology
Breakthrough approaches to reading, writing and editing nucleic acids and proteins for multiple applications, varying from healthcare to data storage.

Through our Innovation Funnel, we harness the creative freedom of academia to generate a pipeline of new ideas and potential breakthrough technologies; enable our staff with product development experience to prototype, mature and de-risk these technologies; and leverage our internal business development team, intellectual property experts, and entrepreneurs-in-residence to drive commercialization, through industrial partnerships, licensing agreements, and the creation of Set Screw Collar, 3-15/16", Unplated Steel.
